Our vision
Due to increasing global population density on the one hand and rising prosperity on the other, the global food supply is becoming an increasingly difficult challenge to overcome. Ensuring that everyone is fed without exceeding planetary boundaries requires new approaches and concepts, a different awareness of resource management, and the best possible use of today's technological possibilities.
TrophoSYS GmbH sees itself as having a duty to use its expertise to implement new methods to improve livestock breeding and thus contribute to improving the quality of the nutritional situation and, at the same time, to making a significant contribution to reducing emissions.
The company focuses on two areas: on the one hand, improving breeding results by separating live and dead cells in the ejaculate, and on the other hand, targeted breeding of farm animals by separating X and Y chromosome-containing sperm.
Both methods meet the demand for urgently needed solutions to improve animal breeding and enable both more efficient and more targeted rearing of farm animals and thus also a reduction in the number of animals, which in turn can increase overall animal welfare and significantly reduce climate impact.
