Our approach to humane application

The joy of having children is our motivation, and our goal is to help couples conceive naturally whenever possible. We create new opportunities for your desire to have children and focus exclusively on improving ejaculate quality.

With the OptiSPERM application, we set out to support couples on their journey to parenthood. Currently, around 15% of all couples are affected by an unfulfilled desire to have children, and of these cases, approximately half are due to male infertility.

The causes can be varied, ranging from genetic and endocrine disorders to congenital malformations and infections, as well as illnesses or the negative side effects of necessary medications. Additional factors such as obesity, alcohol and tobacco use, environmental pollution, and physical and psychological stress, overexertion, and lack of sleep exacerbate the problem.

A reliable diagnosis of male infertility is obtained through an examination of sperm quality, which is usually determined by a semen analysis. This involves examining the seminal fluid under a microscope to determine sperm count, motility, and quality, and also analyzing highly motile sperm, which are particularly crucial for successful fertilization.

If the sperm count is too low, it is called oligozoospermia; if they are poorly motile, it is called asthenizoospermia; and if there are a conspicuously high number of abnormal sperm types, it is called teratozoospermia. If all three criteria are severely impaired, it is called oligo-astheno-teratozoospermia (OAT syndrome).

If only a few sperm cells (cryptozoospermia) or none at all (azoospermia) are found during sperm analysis, this may also be due to retrograde ejaculation, in which the sperm is emptied into the bladder during ejaculation.

The result of the sperm analysis therefore provides information about the quality of the ejaculate and is a key factor in fulfilling the desire to have children.

If this level is too low and therefore insufficient for the successful fulfillment of the desire to have children, OptiSPERM can represent a possible solution and help in the future and significantly increase the chances for couples to fulfill their desire to have children.

With OptiSPERM, we are developing an innovative method for improving sperm quality, which on the one hand removes damaged cells from the ejaculate without negatively affecting healthy cells, and on the other hand stabilizes the remaining intact cells and improves their motility and function.

OptiSPERM is not a genetic manipulation procedure, but rather utilizes existing expertise and extensive experience in spermatology to purify ejaculates, significantly improve their quality, and substantially increase progressive motility. All these measures aim to significantly improve fertility.

In our development, we draw on decades of expertise from renowned biologists, physicians, biochemists and biotechnologists, and have already achieved success in other areas with a similar approach.

Through competent and collaborative partnerships with renowned facilities and institutions, we have the necessary support to achieve the desired results in fulfilling your wish to have a child.

In this process, we can draw on their knowledge and resources, which are essential for successful and rapid implementation. Upon completion of development, we will seek partners through our global network to support us with the necessary approvals and certifications, ensuring worldwide market penetration so that as many interested couples as possible have the opportunity to optimize their ejaculate if needed.

The OptiSPERM procedure

As couples increasingly struggle to fulfill their desire for a child, new solutions are urgently needed to help in a suitable and feasible way.

The causes of an unfulfilled desire to have children can be very diverse and are often highly complex. Fertility disorders or infertility can originate from either the female or male side, but due to our expertise, we focus exclusively on the ejaculate.

From the initiators' point of view, this is a crucial factor in fulfilling the desire to have children, and the increasingly declining quality of human ejaculate contributes to the fact that it often does not work out with the desired offspring.

The volume of average ejaculate has halved in recent decades, and this trend continues unabated. Furthermore, particularly in the industrialized Western world, increasingly harmful factors such as environmental influences, stress, unhealthy lifestyles, and similar factors negatively impact sperm quality.

For this reason, the initiators of OptiSPERM have focused on taking a new approach to improving ejaculates, creating opportunities to optimize sperm without interfering with the person themselves or their lifestyle.

OptiSPERM is a new, currently unique method worldwide for improving human ejaculates without genetic manipulation. It works by removing membrane-damaged cells from the ejaculate while simultaneously stabilizing healthy cells. At the same time, its motility is increased, resulting in a significant improvement in fertility.

We use a technique called Magnetic Activated Cell Sorting (MACS). This technology allows us to select specific cells from a mixture by selectively binding magnetic particles to target cells, which are then held in place by a magnetic field. This isolates healthy cells and enables the removal of unwanted cells.

OptiSPERM removes sperm that are unsuitable for reproduction due to membrane defects, while simultaneously protecting and stabilizing healthy sperm and ensuring significantly improved fertility through the concentration of the ejaculate and the special treatment of the intact sperm.

Advantages of OptiSPERM

Semen quality has traditionally been assessed based on basic parameters such as sperm concentration, motility, and morphology. However, in recent years, the integrity of the sperm's genetic material has become crucial.

A study from March 2026 by the Reproductive Medical Center, Hainan Women and Children's Medical Center and the Department of Urology of the Haikou Affiliated Hospital of Central South University Xiangya School of Medicine confirms that DNA damage in sperm negatively affects the various assisted reproduction techniques.

However, OptiSPERM minimizes these factors, thereby significantly increasing fertility.

OptiSPERM helps in a variety of ways and at every stage of the fertility treatment process - from the treatment of fresh ejaculates before insemination or IVF or cryopreservation to the treatment after thawing and using the preserved ejaculates.

Improving sperm quality significantly increases the success rate of homologous insemination. In this procedure, the patient is inseminated with her partner's concentrated sperm, utilizing the simplest and least invasive technique in reproductive medicine.

Should a partner's sperm be unsuitable for processing and, according to objective assessment, no longer sufficient for successful insemination, the positive effect of OptiSPERM can still be achieved with donor insemination by optimizing the donor ejaculate in the same way.

The same applies to in-vitro fertilization, a highly complex technique in assisted reproductive medicine. In this procedure, a woman's eggs are retrieved through follicular puncture and fertilized with the man's sperm in the laboratory. The embryos are then cultured and their development monitored until, if successful, they are transferred to the uterus.

Depending on the technique used to fuse the germ cells (egg and sperm) to create an embryo, a distinction is made between classical IVF, where egg cells and sperm are placed on a culture dish and ideally fuse there, and intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), where the sperm is injected directly into the egg by microinjection.

OptiSPERM contributes to a significant improvement in the chances of success in fulfilling the desire to have children in all the aforementioned reproductive medicine techniques.

Experience with OptiSPERM shows that its mode of action achieves particularly significant positive effects when used directly with fresh semen. However, the procedure is also of particular importance in cases of sample cryopreservation. Cryopreservation inherently places a considerable strain on cells, and it therefore makes sense to subject ejaculates to the protective OptiSPERM treatment before freezing. This process removes the already damaged cells present in every ejaculate and effectively protects the intact cells from the cell-stressing and potentially cell-destroying freezing process.

As a result, OptiSPERM supports not only individuals who want to preserve their ejaculate for future use and in the best possible condition, but also, in particular, every provider of sperm banks, fertility clinics, research and development institutions, as well as every professional user who has a legitimate interest in high-quality and cell-friendly cryopreservation of human ejaculates.

Crucial to OptiSPERM's success with customers is not only the unique and currently globally unparalleled effect of the procedure, but above all the price for its application to a single ejaculate. The cost of purifying an entire ejaculate is generally lower than a single hormone treatment for cycle optimization and hormone therapy.

Considering that several insemination doses can be produced from an average ejaculate, the costs decrease proportionally with each additional dose and are therefore affordable when considering the overall cost of fulfilling the desire to have children and the relationship between the mental and physical burden of the procedure and the chance of success.

We want to support people who want to have children and therefore keep any burden as low as possible. OptiSPERM already fulfills all these criteria!
